Some of the things we achieved or contributed to, in the period April 2008 to March 2009, are listed below:

- Delivered Cold Calling Control Zone leaflets and cards to all properties in Uphall
- Purchased two new community noticeboards to be placed in the Post Office and Uphall Community Education Centre
- Contributed to the Airdrie/Bathgate rail link consultation process
- Contributed to the Forth Road Bridge crossing consultation
- Secured funding to provide lighting at the skate park
- Made representation to West Lothian Council on a number of planning applications
- Had a number of speakers at our monthly meetings
- Developed a website for Uphall Community Council
- Agreed to create an Uphall Community Council newsletter
